Guidelines for Presentations
|
|
Conference Presentations:
|
|
Paper Presentations: | Maximum 25 minutes + 15 minutes for Q & A / discussion.
|
|
Workshops/Demos: | Minimum 90 minutes (excluding pre-conference/online activity)
|
|
Abstract/Description: | Maximum 150 words, required by the stated deadline.
|
|
Presenter’s Profile: | Maximum 25 words (including name, title, and specialization)
|
|
Presentation Format: | Microsoft Power Point 2003/2007 (preferred but not required).
|
|
On-Time Scheduling: | Presenters must be in the assigned room 5 minutes ahead; and must exit the room immediately after their presentations.
|
|
Workshops & Demonstrations:
|
Proposals for special workshops or demonstrations (of technology-related training and/or innovations) must include an additional description of:
- The materials/equipment involved/to be used, and any special set-up requirement.
- The level of participants’ pre-requisite (if any) and resources to be provided.
- Whether additional time (beyond the allotted time indicated above) may be required.
Note: Promotional demonstrations of commercial materials/tools/equipment will attract a special exhibitor’s fee, unless already included in a paid-for exhibit/display booth.
Full Papers - (Edited Book Candidates)
Full Paper submissions initially in draft form will be peer-reviewed for possible inclusion in the EduVision Book - titled: “Technology in Education and Training: Research highlights
of EduVision2009” should be published within six months after the conference.
Submission/final version length: 6-8 pages (maximum 4950 words).
Publication/reference style: APA standard.
General Guidelines Re: Publication:
To ensure that presentations of the highest quality are published, authors are urged to take special care in preparing their papers. Contents must be original, authentic, relevant and valid.
Please use this checklist to ensure that guidelines are followed:
- Paper Size must be Letter size: 8 1/2 x 11
- Margins must be 1"
- Font Face must be ‘Times New Roman’, Font Size 11.
- References, graphics, tables are all included in the total pages count.
- The paper MUST include an ABSTRACT
- Do NOT include PAGE NUMBERS
- Do NOT include HEADERS or FOOTERS.
